Sherwood Resorts & Hotels supports and monitors internationally recognized human rights in its operations. While continuing and enhancing its activities, it prioritizes the health, well-being of its employees, and the preservation of the environment. It manages activities related to Occupational Health and Safety, employee rights, and environmental matters in accordance with national legal requirements and other obligations.

For that purpose, it takes every necessary precaution on an international level and bilateral or multilateral relations for the purpose of preventing children from being deceived or forced into an illegal sexual activity and preventing exploitation of children by making them participate in an illegal sexual activity or prostitution, being used in pornographic shows and materials.

Sherwood Resorts & Hotels is a part of children’s rights and the child’s rights protection policy for all employees to provide initial orientation training and executive agencies when given with child abuse in periodic education and cultural establishments, which requires the necessity to report to the appropriate provincial police officers.

Our Occupational Health And Safety Policy

As Sherwood Resorts & Hotels we adopt an Occupational Health and Safety Policy that is based on respect for people and environment in which they live. Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) is our first priority in all areas we conduct activities and our motto “Stay healthy stay in your job” states this understanding. Everyone is responsible with doing what needed to be done under his/ her authority in an attempt to ensure a safe and healthy work environment. One of our main objectives is to protect all our employees and environment we live in against potential risks of our sector.

To this end, we promise that we will meet below mentioned commitments as our OHS policy:

  • Taking all measures in accordance with OHS legislations in force and other requirements concerning OHS in an effort to ensure health and safety of our employees, subcontractors, visitors and our out-of-office staff, providing tools and personal protective equipment and using them if necessary in workplace and its affiliates,
  • Anticipating and eliminating insecure situation and actions that may cause occupational accidents and diseases and also eliminating potential accident risks in workplace and its affiliates through an efficient risk assessment,
  • Identifying risks that may cause occupational accidents and diseases in workplace, ensuring health, safety and social welfare of all employees, visitors, subcontractors and minimizing all kinds of possible material and nonmaterial future losses for them and their families,
  • Providing occupational health and safety trainings to our employees and raising their awareness of occupational health and safety,
  • Providing abiding by the rules we established concerning occupational health and security by subcontractors providing service in workplace and guests,
  • Setting our institution as an example with regard to OHS implementations, in the presence of registered institutions, chambers of industry and associations,
  • Anticipating potential circumstances which may be encountered in the future from today and reviewing our continuous improvement and position bearing in mind industrial world’s development,
  • Maintaining continuity of our OHS Management System which was established and currently ongoing in this direction.
